Led Zepplin: "Going To California"
"Spent my days with a woman unkind, Smoked my stuff and drank all my wine.
Made up my mind to make a new start, Going To California with an aching in my heart.
Someone told me there's a girl out there with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair.
Took my chances on a big jet plane, never let them tell you that they're all the same.
The sea was red and the sky was grey, wondered how tomorrow could ever follow today.
The mountains and the canyons started to tremble and shake
as the children of the sun began to awake. "
This song gives me great inspiration to always follow my dreams even if I'm scared. I have definitely turned down opportunities and and change because I've been scared to. Then I ask myself, what would it hurt? What could go wrong? Then the over thinking begins with ALL THE TERRIBLE THINGS THAT CAN GO WRONG! And I scare myself completely out of the decision, so I don't have to make one. Meanwhile I'm watching my friends make those decisions and moving on with their modeling careers and actually traveling to California, New York, etc. So now that I see it actually can happen, and my intentions were good and pure. Hopefully someday I just may get another chance to sign with an agency and go to New York. :)

College, And All That Jazz.
Well being at school has been something that I was so excited to go back to, once I was ready. Well actually once my Dad thought I was ready. As soon as I proved to him and showed initiative that I could do this he said he'd support me and pay for it. But it was a lot harder than I thought. It honestly took me two years to take the productive steps and prove to him that his money would be well spent, and not quickly wasted. He was nervous that I'd be in over my head and not know how to be productive, study, and get grades to his standards. (Nothing lower than a C first semester, and nothing lower than a B the remainder of college.) By putting this responsibility on me really helped me understand how serious he was and how serious I needed to be. If you give, you get. And I gave it my persistence, and I got my college education paid for.
But what I realized having a job without an education is that you have to work SO hard in a job that pays minimum wage. And being a roommate, or not having extra money because I had my own apartment was not the way I wanted to see my life. I wanted, and needed an education to fulfill the lifestyle I have grown accustomed to and be happy! I know I'm smart and with hard work, dedication, and persistence I get the goals I've set out for accomplished. And oh, it has never felt so good!
